Porsche Platica - A New Porsche Car Show in Knoxville
A new Porsche Car Show debuts this Sunday, May 5, 2024 at The Quarry Venue outside Knoxville, Tennessee. Platica, Spainish for a chat will present 25 unique Porsches at the one-of-a-kind Quarry venue with the cars sprinkled around the grounds.
This special setting will show Porsches on the grounds of a former Quarry where you’ll follow a map to discover Porsches at every turn appearing to be carved in stone. The day will be like following a treasure map to find the gold of another prized Porsche.
May 5 is Cinco de Mayo so the day will have a Mexican theme with Rocky Top Tacos Food truck and a complimentary single Targarita for attendees over 21 years of age. A cash bar will be available after that.
Harper Porsche in Knoxville has created the event free for guests with Porsche corral parking and shuttle parking for non-Porsches.
The 25 unique Porsches that Harper Porsche will be featuring include the Porsche 963 Show Car, the Pikes Peak winning Brumos Porsche GT2 RS Clubsport and many unique street Porsches including a Porsche 964 RS, Porsche Speedster and the Commander’s own 1968 Porsche 911 HR (Hot Rod).
Harper Porsche will also be featuring a Porsche Classic Restoration display on-site.
Bring your Porsche and park in the Porsche Corral parking. Special gifts from Leen Customs. Limited quantities of event merchandise will be available for purchase from Label Industries. A pop-up Porsche Store will also have Porsche merchandise on sale.
