Air-Cooled Porsche Sales: Amelia Island 2020

The big three auction houses completed their Amelia Island auctions and had a strong sales. Air-cooled Porsches were very successful in reaching their pre-sale estimates in most cases.
The big winners based on exceeding their pre-sale estimate price are:
· 1970 Porsche 914/6 that sold at $123,200, 54% more than the low estimate
· 1966 Porsche 911 that sold for $184,800, 23% more than the low estimate
· 1989 Carrera C4 Coupe that sold for $103,000, 106% more than the low estimate
The Porsches selling below estimate:
· 1971 Porsche 914 that sold for $44,899, 44% less than the pre-sale estimate
· 1973 Porsche 911S that sold for $151, 200, 16% less than the pre-sale estimate
· 1973 Porsche 911S that sold for $140,000, 12% less than the pre-sale estimate
· 1076 Porsche 930 Turbo that sold for $123,200, 18% less than the pre-sale estimate
